Q: How can I view the status of my order for oriental rugs?
A: Go to the Customer Service, Account Information page. This page lists all your 
    orders. Click the date of the order whose status you wish to view.

Q: What are your shipping costs for your hand knotted rugs?
A: We offer FREE Shipping on all rugs with no minimum purchase required. 

Q: How much will I have to pay for shipping of my wool oriental rugs?
A: We offer FREE Shipping on all rugs with no minimum purchase required. 
    If you live in the U.S. or Canada the shipping is FREE, except for the            
    following states in the U.S.: 
   • Alaska
   • Hawaii
   • Guam
   • Puerto Rico
   • US Virgin Islands

Q: How do you ship & how quickly will I receive my order?
A: We ship UPS Ground unless otherwise is requested. All of our rugs are in stock
    and we ship within 1-day from your purchase date. For transit time and    
    delivery estimates, we will send you Id-tracking nr and you can track your
    purchase from ups web site www.ups.com. 

Q: Will I have to pay sales tax on my purchase? 
A: If you are outside the state of California, you will NOT incur any sales tax.

Q: What types of payment do you accept?
A: We offer secure online payment options such as Visa, Master Card, American 
    Express, and Discover. For your convenience we also accept order by phone.

Q: Is your website secure?
A: Yes. Our site uses 256-bit SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption technology. We
     are also partners with Norton Secure guarantee our highest level of security  
     compliance yet. 

Q: How do I place an order?
A: You may place your order 7 days a week, 24hrs a day. You may also call our
    expert customer service toll free at: (888) 504-3335 10:00 am-18:00 pm   
    Mon-Sunday to place your order over the telephone and discuss any further
    inquiries you may have.

Q: Can I delay the shipment of my order?
A: Yes. To place an order with a delayed shipping date its best that you call us to
    place your order, and our customer representative will better assist you with
    all available shipping dates. 

Q: What happens if my order arrives and I'm not happy with it?
A: The customer has 7 days to exchange for the same price or more rug with no  
    restocking fee.
    The customer has 3 days to keep before returning the goods for refund.
    If returned for refund, the customer is responsible for shipping fee both
    ways.(no drop-offs).

Q: How long has Michael Rugs has been in business?
A: We have been in this business with over 12 years of trading experience in floor
    covering rugs. So you can rest assured that with our connections overseas, and
    our direct buying/manufacturing ability, you'll receive top quality product at  
    a fraction of its retail price.

Q: Do you charge restocking fee?
A: We do NOT charge restocking fee. We realize that it's already a hassle if your
    order doesn't work out for you, so we certainly don't want to make it any more
    frustrating for you by panelizing you with unnecessary restocking fees you'd
    see elsewhere.

Q: When will my refund be processed?
A: We process all returns within 24hrs. We also process all refunds within 24hrs.
    However, we do ask you that you allow 3-5 business days for your refund to
    post back to your credit-card.

Q: Do you ship to APO addresses?
A: Yes, we can ship your rug to APO addresses. APO addresses are considered
    international shipping and the shipping cost may vary due to the weight and
    destination of the package. You will receive an email about the shipping cost.

Q: Do you ship to P.O. Box addresses?
A: We do NOT ship any rugs to P.O. Box addresses.


Q: My credit card billing address is a P.O.Box, what should i do about shipping?
A: If you use a P.O. Box as your main credit card billing address, call your credit
    card company and have them include your home address as a secondary
    address for the card. We ship only to the billing address on your credit card
    (please verify your billing address before placing your order for faster service).

Q: When do you not accept rug for return or exchange?
A: We do not accept any stained or damaged rugs.
    Michael Rugs is well known for its customer's satisfaction in the Oriental rug 
    industry. We are 100% behind our products and clients. 
    We are not able to accept any returns for rugs sold to customers outside of the 
    United States. All international sales are final. Clients are responsible for
    customs duty rates and clearances in the destination country.

Q: When my rug arrives , do i have to be present for the delivery?
A: Usually there is a signature requirement for the delivery. However, we can  
    arrange for you to pick up your rug at your local UPS center, if you contact us
     prior that we ship your rug. 

Q: If i un -wrap my rug and find folds or creases, how can i get rid of that?
A: During shipping some rugs may curl along the edges, or show creases where
   they have been folded for shipping. One solution to fixing this problem is to
   place a heavy, flat object, on the curled edges for a few days. Creases are easily
   released by allowing regular foot traffic over your rug.
